Cycling & Mountain Biking Performance Training | Online Strength & Conditioning for Riders
Why Train for Cycling & Mountain Biking?
Cycling and mountain biking might seem low-impact, but they place serious demands on your body—especially your legs, core, hips, and balance. Without proper training, it’s easy to develop muscle imbalances, lose power on climbs or sprints, or struggle with nagging pain in your knees, lower back, or hips.
Training for cycling isn’t just about riding more—it’s about moving better. A well-designed program helps you:
Increase pedaling power and endurance through targeted strength and mobility
Prevent injury by addressing tightness and muscular imbalances
Improve stability and bike handling skills
Extend your riding longevity so you can enjoy longer, stronger rides for years to come
Whether you’re racing competitively or just cruising the trails, performance training builds the foundation your body needs to ride stronger and feel better.
What You’ll Gain From Cycling & Mountain Biking Performance Training:
Increase leg power and pedal efficiency for stronger, faster rides
Improve mobility in your hips, ankles, and lower back for better bike handling
Build balance and stability to confidently navigate technical trails
Reduce pain or tightness in common areas like knees, hips, and lower back
Train with purpose—so your body supports every pedal stroke and trail challenge
I can help you improve cycling + biking performance and reduce the risk of injury

What You Get with My Online Cycling + Mountain Biking Training Program:
-
Your program is completely personalized based on your current fitness level, injury history, available equipment (whether that’s a full gym or just a few dumbbells), and your specific goals for riding. Whether you're training for long-distance road rides, technical mountain trails, or simply want to feel stronger and more confident on the bike, your strength and mobility plan will support the way you move in the saddle and on the trail.
-
Everything is delivered through a simple, intuitive training app where you can view your workouts, track progress, watch demo videos, and stay organized—all in one place. The app will also be our primary form of communication, making it easy for you to check in, ask questions, and share feedback as often as you’d like.
-
I’ll reach out each week to check in—so at minimum, we’ll always touch base. Whether it’s a quick message, a phone call, or a video chat, we’ll use whatever format works best for you. You’ll also have the option to send in videos of your lifts or movements so I can give personalized form feedback to help you train safely and effectively.
-
Your training plan isn’t static—it grows with you. We’ll track your progress over time through the app, whether that’s strength gains, improved mobility, or more confidence on the bike. Based on your check-ins, feedback, and performance, I’ll make ongoing adjustments to your program to keep it effective, challenging, and aligned with your evolving cycling goals.
-
Your plan is built around the space and equipment you have—whether that’s a fully stocked gym, a garage setup, or just a few weights in your living room. You don’t need fancy gear to build strength and mobility for riding. I’ll design your workouts to be realistic, accessible, and effective no matter where you’re training.
